Hannover, Germany. Deutsche Messe, in partnership with the ÜSTRA public transport association, is making a strong statement for sustainable mobility: from now on, exhibitors and visitors with a valid admission ticket for any Deutsche Messe trade fair will automatically be entitled to complimentary public transportation access within the ÜSTRA network . This initiative also extends to guest organizers hosting events at Deutsche Messe's exhibition center, allowing them to offer the same benefit to their attendees.

"The new Climate Ticket provides a convenient, cost-effective, and sustainable way for visitors to get to our events. We are thus taking a proactive step toward reducing CO₂ emissions, easing traffic congestion, and enhancing the appeal of Hannover as a premier trade fair venue," explains Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Managing Board of Deutsche Messe.

Ulf-Birger Franz, Head of the Hannover Region's Department of Economic Affairs and Transport: "We are delighted that, together with Deutsche Messe AG and the Climate Ticket, we will also be able to offer the tried-and-tested combined ticket scheme to all visitors to Hannover's trade fairs in future. With this environmentally friendly offer, we are showing guests from all over the world that Hannover as a trade fair venue stands for a modern, sustainable and mobile lifestyle - that's a great and important message!"

The Climate Ticket has been warmly welcomed by the guest organizers who, with their trade fairs, draw hundreds of thousands of visitors to Hannover. Dr. Markus Heering, Executive Director of the VDW (German Machine Tool Builders' Association) and organizer of EMO, the world's leading trade fair for production technology, says: "With the Climate Ticket, Hannover has a strong unique selling point that other trade fair venues do not offer. We are delighted that DMAG is driving forward modern mobility in the interests of our exhibitors and visitors and has negotiated attractive conditions for a modern ticket."
