The care sector is under massive pressure, as we learn almost daily from the media or experience in our own environment. The shortage of qualified nursing staff and an ageing society are constantly exacerbating the situation.

"The solution lies in stronger networking between all stakeholders," explains Grosch. "That's why we launched Pro Care , a trade fair that covers all facets of care: from inpatient and intensive medical care to outpatient and home care."

But it's about more than just a professional exchange: "We want to show nursing staff the appreciation they deserve and redefine the job description."

"We are not sticking to a rigid event format," explains Grosch. "We look forward to creative ideas and suggestions from exhibitors that can help to further enrich the thematic profile of Pro Care." The aim is to build a genuine Pro Care community in which exchange takes place at eye level. And the success is already evident: over 70 exhibitors have already registered and the feedback from the industry is extremely positive.

As a strong partner, the Federal Association of Private Providers of Social Services (bpa e.V.) is responsible for the content of the parallel congress. A varied stage program will also showcase practical solutions.

"We don't want to talk about people in care services, we want to talk with them," says Grosch. "The people who work with dedication and hard work in care every day are the focus of Pro Care."

Everyday care work can be mentally and physically very stressful. That is why, in addition to specialist lectures, there are also special workshops on topics such as "life kinetics" or "sleeping better" to give participants tips for an improved work-life balance.

In collaboration with the Unboxing Healthcare network, known for its fresh approach in the healthcare sector, start-ups that want to revolutionize the care sector with their ideas will be presenting themselves at InnoCircle.

PKM, known for its video podcast "Pflegetalk mit PKM", which reports "from the care sector for the care sector", will also be present at Pro Care with its own podcast studio.

With this wide range of offers, Pro Care not only creates a platform for professional exchange, but also a place of appreciation, innovation and networking. "Our aim is to celebrate and support the care sector and lead it into a better future together," summarizes Heike Grosch.

Mark your calendars for February 11-12, 2024 for Pro Care’s first edition!
